The police chief of the province, Brigadier General Mohammad Abdul Wahab Al-Saidi, chaired a security conference to discuss the security plans and update them to suit the security situation in the province and the extent of their successful implementation on the ground in order to improve the security level.
In a statement received by the official Iraqi News Agency INA Dhi Qar police command said the meeting stressed the need to provide full protection for the demonstration yards, preserve the security and protection of the demonstrators, and inspect the people entering the demonstration places and yards. He stressed the importance of activating the intelligence effort and intensifying the work of external and internal controls and work hard on the issue of regional security of the importance of securing neighborhoods and residential areas to maintain the security and stability of the province.
