Allawi calls for Arab League to monitor the recount process

INA - Cairo Iraq called the Arab League to monitor the manual recount process of the elections 2018 with the Iraqi judiciary. During his visit to Egypt, Vice President Ayad Allawi met the Secretary-General of the League Ahmed Aboul Gheit and discussed the political situation and the recent updates in the Arab region. Aboul Gheit asserted the support of the Arab League to maintain security and stability in Iraq and to hinder any foreign interference in the internal affairs of the country.
