The head of the Union of Arab Journalists Muayyad al-Lami on Thursday congratulated the Popular Mobilization forces Assembly on the occasion of the fifth anniversary of its founding and issued an advisory fatwa to the supreme religious authority.
"The Iraqi Journalists' Syndicate Council will facilitate the procedures for obtaining membership in the syndicate for the media of the Popular Mobilization forces who have contributed to the transfer of the battles against the martyrs in honor of their sacrifices," Lami said in his congratulations to the Popular Lobby.
"The syndicate will honor these courageous journalists on the 150th anniversary of the Iraqi press festival, which falls on June 15," he added.
Al-Lami praised the efforts of the Popular Mobilization forces popular crowd in 140 countries at the general conference of the International Federation of Journalists in Tunis held this week
