Religious Marjaa demanded, on Friday, the person who is responsible for the tragically incident of the sinking ferry in Mosul to resign immediately.
“Someone must be held into account for such tragedy that has occurred under his work responsibility and he must resign immediately and to be under investigative procedures,” said the representative of the religious Marjaa, Sayyed Ahmed al-Safi during the Friday’s sermon.
He explained saying, “This incident is a sign that the state has a great breach in terms of administration and the supervising system is not working properly. That is a part of the spread corruption in the country,”
Sayyed Al-Safi also commented that many committees are working properly either due to “toleration or bribery” and this is ‘dangerous’, he stated.
