The official office of Muqtada al-Sadr, the head Sairoon Coalition, issued a statement regarding the terrorist attack occurred in New Zealand and targeted the Muslims.
Al-Sadr condemned the attack and said that it targeted Muslim civilians in the praying holy places and mosques.
He also called on the international humanitarian organizations and governments to condemn the attacks and provide better security for the Muslim community abroad.
“This protection will help fighting terrorism and extremism in addition to strengthen the relationship between the religions,” included the statement.
