Islamic Revolutionary Guard: Won't start a war, but we are ready

Major General Hussein Salami, the Commander-in-Chief of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps - IRGC, confirmed on Saturday that the Islamic Republic of Iran does not seek to start any war but is prepared for it.

"We will not be the ones to start a war, but we are prepared for it. We know how to defeat the enemy, and we will not take a step back," Salami said in statements followed up by the Iraqi News Agency - INA.

He added, "Imagining that we, Hezbollah, and Palestine are not harmed by the enemy does not conform to the logic of war."

"The people of Gaza besieged without water or food, stand firm and do not give the enemy permission to prevail," he included, emphasizing that "the resistance fronts in Yemen and Hezbollah in Lebanon are steadfast in the face of the enemy."
