The Supreme Judicial Council on Friday denied the existence of political arrangements for the return of those wanted.
The Supreme Judicial Council denies the news that one of the satellite channels reported on arrangements for the return of wanted persons to the judiciary in accordance with political arrangements, the spokesman of the Supreme Judicial Council, Judge Abdul Sattar Birqdar, said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency. Outside of Iraq can follow the legal methods to challenge the decisions issued against him and this is the only way away from any political arrangements.
The statement denied that "any judgment or arrest warrant against any person is politically motivated because the verdicts and arrest warrants are issued according to the law only for criminal offenses and in light of the evidence in each case.
