Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani discussed, today, Saturday, with the head of the National Wisdom Movement, Mr. Ammar Al-Hakim, efforts to implement the government program with all its objectives.
The Prime Minister's Media Office stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that "Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani received the head of the National Wisdom Movement, Mr Ammar al-Hakim.".
The statement added that "the meeting discussed the general situation in the country, and the government's efforts to implement its government program, with all its objectives that aim to develop the services provided and improve the economic reality of the country, to achieve economic and social development.
" The statement continued, "The meeting discussed the current events in Syria, and emphasized Iraq's position, which focuses on non-interference in Syrian affairs, and also emphasized the inclusion of various components in managing the transitional phase there, as well as discussing the government's efforts to raise the capabilities of our security and military forces, and enhance border protection against any security threat, in a way that ensures the safety of Iraqi lands and preserves its security."
