The head of the Popular Mobilization Forces, Faleh Al-Fayadh, confirmed today, Friday, that the Popular Mobilization Forces are a great force that represents all of Iraq, while pointing out that the people of Anbar Governorate are the most knowledgeable about the era of the terrorist ISIS gangs.
Al-Fayadh said during the security forum for the notables and sheikhs of Anbar tribes - attended by the correspondent of the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "Iraq today warns of any challenges that affect the victory over terrorism," indicating that "disarming the Syrian state and keeping only armed groups represents a threat."
Al-Fayadh stressed, "We hope that the ship of stability will dock in Syria after a decade of challenges," explaining that "Iraq seeks with the Arab countries to bring Syria to stability and preserve its territorial integrity."
He added, "Iraq did not interfere in the affairs of Syria or any other country, and this is not our approach," noting that "the Zionist entity occupied the Golan Heights again in a country that is going through a difficult situation and without an army."
He pointed out that "the people of Anbar are more aware of the ISIS era, which they suffered because of," explaining that "our security forces are in a different situation today than they were in 2014."
Al-Fayadh pointed out that "the Popular Mobilization Forces have become a large force that represents all of Iraq and confronts any danger that threatens the country," adding that "we will be decisive with the edge of a sword in the face of anyone who wants to tamper with the security of Anbar province."
"The security force means nothing without cohesion with society," noting that "terrorism is the dirtiest tool used to conquer societies." Al-Fayadh said.
Al-Fayadh concluded by saying that "tribal custom is a fundamental factor that we have witnessed in facing many challenges."
