The head of the Popular Mobilization Forces, Faleh al-Fayyad, and the new special representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations in Iraq, Mohammed al-Hassan, on Wednesday, the need to take decisive positions to stop the Zionist massacres.
The media office of the head of the Popular Mobilization Forces said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "The head of the Popular Mobilization Forces, Faleh Al-Fayyad, received today, the new Special Representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations in Iraq, Mohammed Al-Hassan."
"During the meeting, they stressed the role of the United Nations in supporting Iraq to maintain stability and the security gains achieved," it said.
The statement continued: "They discussed the ongoing aggression against Lebanon and Palestine, and the need for the international community to take decisive positions to stop the Zionist massacres and prevent the expansion of the war in the region."
