Today, Sunday, the preparatory ministerial meeting for the Arab-Islamic Summit was held in Riyadh regarding the developments in Gaza and Lebanon with the participation of Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein.
Saudi Press Agency (SPA) said: that "Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah chaired the preparatory ministerial meeting for the extraordinary Arab and Islamic summit scheduled to be held tomorrow, Monday, in the capital, Riyadh."
It added that "this summit is an extension of the joint Arab-Islamic summit that was held in Riyadh in November 2023, and based on the directives of King Salman bin Abdulaziz and in continuation of the efforts made by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and in coordination with the leaders of Arab and Islamic countries."
"The meeting witnessed the discussion of the agenda of the upcoming summit, and the most prominent issues up for discussion were considered."
The Saudi capital will host the extraordinary joint Arab-Islamic summit tomorrow, Monday, to discuss the continued Zionist aggression on the Palestinian territories and Lebanon, and current developments in the region.
Yesterday, Saturday, Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein arrived in Riyadh to participate in the ministerial meeting of the Arab-Islamic Summit.
