Iraq's permanent representative to the Arab League, Qahtaan Al-Janabi, announced today, Monday, that a request has been submitted to hold an emergency meeting at the Arab League on Lebanon.
Al-Janabi told the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein directed that a request be submitted to hold an emergency meeting at the level of permanent representatives in the Arab League regarding Lebanon."
He added that "the meeting will discuss the situation in Lebanon, especially the displaced and refugees, and providing assistance to the brotherly state of Lebanon."
