Media Office of the Prime Minister said in an official statement obtained by the Iraqi News Agency-INA that in light of the difficult circumstances that the brotherly Lebanese people are facing, as they have been subjected to a criminal Zionist aggression in recent days, and in solidarity and support from Iraq, both government and people, with our brothers in Lebanon, the Prime Minister and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Mohammed S. Al-Sudani, has directed the following:
1- The extension of the visas for Lebanese citizens currently in Iraq without the need to travel, for a period of thirty days, which can be extended again, based on the provisions of the Foreigners' Residency Law No. (76 of 2017), due to the severe wartime conditions Lebanon is going through.
2- The waiver of penalties for Lebanese citizens currently in violation of residency laws as outlined in the aforementioned law.
3- Continue issuing free entry visas for Lebanese citizens at Iraq's border crossings.
