FIIA tightens hold on a suspect escaped from Basra police station

Following his escape from a police station in the province of Basra, the Federal Intelligence and Investigation Agency-FIIA announced on Monday that it was tightening its hold on a suspect.
"With intelligence efforts and field follow-up, the detachments of FIIA specialized in combating terrorism in Basra were able to arrest a suspect who escaped from one of the police stations in the province," FIIA said in a statement obtained by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
The statement asserted, "He was apprehended within the province before he was able to flee outside."
