The Iraq National Security Service (INSS) announced on Friday the successful seizure of a significant cache of various weapons.
"Based on intelligence and field monitoring, one of Baghdad's arms trafficking sources was identified," the INSS stated in a release received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA). "In two separate operations, INSS confiscated a substantial amount of weapons and over 4,000 rounds of ammunition."
The statement also revealed that "the operation uncovered a storage facility containing 152 types of weapons and resulted in the arrest of three individuals caught in the act of trafficking arms in Baghdad."
