Interior Minister Abdul Amir Al-Shammari and his Iranian counterpart, , Ahmed Wahidi, inspected on Thursday, the border crossings in Kermanshah Province in preparation for Arbaeen Pilgrimage of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him).
The Ministry of Interior stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that “Interior Minister Abdul Amir al-Shammari arrived today in Iran via the Khosravi International Border (west) and was received by his Iranian counterpart, Ahmed Wahidi.”
The statement added, " the two ministers inspected joint border crossings in Kermanshah province in preparation for the Arbaeen pilgrimage of Imam Hussein. They assessed infrastructure at the Khosravi border and attended a joint meeting to discuss facilitating the movement of pilgrims.”
