The Board of Trustees of the Iraqi Media Network (IMN) convened on Sunday to address matters of organizational responsibility and the implementation of diversity criteria.
Awsam Majid Ghanem, spokesperson for the Board of Trustees, told the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "Today, the Board of Trustees of IMN held a comprehensive session chaired by Thaer Al-Ghanimi, focusing on reviewing previous meeting outcomes and emphasizing the need for diligent follow-up."
Ghanem elaborated, "Key agenda items included defining roles and responsibilities within IMN and expanding guest participation and content diversity across all segments of Iraqi society, in adherence to the diversity criteria mandated by national broadcasting laws and standards."
"In recent sessions, discussions also encompassed ensuring the independence of board members, mechanisms for addressing complaints, and the formulation of bylaws and public policies," Ghanem added.
