Al-Kaabi to discuss the adoption of the information crimes law

The First Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives Hassan Karim al-Kaabi on Sunday held a meeting of the Security and Defense Committee to discuss the adoption of relevant legislation such as information crimes law.
Al-Kaabi chaired a meeting of the parliamentary security and defense committee to discuss the adoption of laws of importance and relevance such as the law of informatics crimes and the possibility of including it in the agenda of the session of the Council of Representatives during the coming period," the statement said.
Al-Kaabi pointed out the need to activate the role and functions of the Security Committee during the current parliamentary session, pointing out the importance of permanent coordination between the legislative and executive authorities in terms of security laws, which contribute to enhance cooperation and maintain the security of the capital Baghdad and other provinces.
