The monument honoring the renowned Iraqi poet Muhammad Mahdi Al-Jawahiri was unveiled in Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic, today, Friday, by Iraqi Ambassador Falah Abdul Hassan.
The Al-Jawahiri Monument was unveiled by the Iraqi ambassador in collaboration with the city's mayor in front of a large group of Arab and foreign diplomats stationed in Prague, the advisor to the prime minister on cultural affairs, a delegation from the General Union of Writers in Iraq, and others close to the residence where he had spent many years.
