KRG announces Kurdistan Parliament elections date

The Kurdistan RegionAL Goverbment declared today, Wednesday, that the date of the region's parliamentary elections has been determined.
"The Regional Presidency has set the date for the elections for the Iraqi Kurdistan Regional Parliament to be 10/20/2024," said Dilshad Shehab, the spokesman for the Regional government, during a press conference that the Iraqi News Agency (INA) reporter attended.
"All parties will be bound by this date," Shehab stated, adding, "the determination of this day was based on the powers granted to the president of the region."
