The Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi held a meeting with the Dhi Qar Governorate’s Parliament Members, attended by the Dhi Qar Governor and the Chairman and Members of the Governorate’s Council, in his framework of meeting with governorates high rank officials in order to know their affairs and needs to offer the suitable solutions.
Mahdi confirmed that these meetings are very useful since they put an order for the most important issues and priorities to find suitable solutions, calling the local governments in all Iraqi governorates to take their role in administration, and do their best to serve the citizens.
PM refereed that he has full belief that Iraq wouldn’t be run successfully only with decentralized administration, and he is trying to develop this trend, promising to work together with the governorate’s officials to meet Dhi Qar people needs with what this scarifying governorate deserves.
PM listened during the meeting to detailed explanations presented by the governorates’ officials concerning the security, agricultural, economical, educational, irrigative and healthy status of Dhi Qar
