President Barham Salih said that Iraq hopes for an effective and significant role of the United Nations during the next phase, and to address many of the issues left by the circumstances resulting from the control of gangs and the terrorist attacks on some Iraqi cities in 2014.
In an interview with the Iraqi News Agency , Salih said during a meeting with UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon that intensive and politically motivated efforts are being made at various levels to finalize the formation of the ministerial cabin , Stressing the support of the Prime Minister to achieve constitutional benefits during the coming period.
For her part, Blachkart stressed the continued support of the United Nations to Iraq in all areas to contribute to its permanent stability, praising the great efforts of the President of the Republic in bringing the views of political parties closer together and strengthening national unity.
