Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani stressed today, Thursday, the necessity of developing intelligence and security work in the Najaf Governorate.
The Prime Minister's Media Office said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "Al-Sudani chaired a meeting of the leaders of the security and military services in the Najaf Governorate, in the presence of the Governor of Najaf, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Intelligence and Federal Investigations, and the head of the Security Committee in the governorate."
The Prime Minister said according to the statement that “the security stability of Najaf Al-Ashraf is of great importance because of the religious, historical, social, civilizational and cultural status it represents,” pointing to “the necessity of developing the technical and field capabilities of the security services in the province.”
He stressed "the need for security work to be parallel to the construction, reconstruction and development movement in Iraq," stressing "the need not to be complacent in the security file due to its sensitivity and to exert the highest levels of intelligence effort to achieve security."
The Commander-in-Chief directed "to pay attention to the members and their affairs and to be aware of their needs, in a way that makes them at the highest levels of readiness to perform their duties and deal with all cases, to achieve continuity of security. He also directed that citizens must be dealt with appropriately and reflect a bright and bright image of the state and its security services."
