DRUG BUST: Most powerful drug trafficker arrested in Anbar

    In a statement obtained by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), the Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) claimed that following persistent surveillance, PMF Command in Anbar was able to detain one of the powerful drug dealers in the province on Sunday. Aref Muayad Jassem, the arrestee, was found in possession of large amount of narcotics, some of which were withheld for security concerns.

     

     

    According to PMF, "legal measures were taken against him and handed over to the competent authorities." The aforementioned individual sought to promote the amount of drugs in the province.
