Najaf Criminal Court: life imprisonment for a drug dealer

Najaf Criminal Court issued, on Sunday, a life sentence against a drug dealer.
The Supreme Judicial Council (SJC) said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that " the convict was seized in possession of narcotic substance methylamphetamine".
" The sentence was issued based on the provisions of Article 27/ I f Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances law No. 50 of 2017 " the statement added.
