Prime Minister Mohammed S. Al-Sudani Meets with the UN Special Representative of the Secretary-General for Iraq

Prime Minister Mohammed S. Al-Sudani met today, Sunday, with the UN Secretary-General's Special Representative for Iraq, Ms. Jeanine Hennis-Plasschaert.

Prime Minister’s Media Office said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) “During the meeting, they discussed the relationship between Iraq and the United Nations, highlighting the main files and programs through which the UN organization supports Iraq across various sectors”.
 
“Prime Minister Al-Sudani affirmed that Iraq has completed many of the requirements for transformation and the completion of its constitutional institutions, as documented in recent UN reports. He highlighted the importance of continuing cooperation between Iraq and the various UN agencies operating in Iraq in their different activities” the statement added.
