PMF arrest 3 ISIS members in Baghdad

The Security Media Cell announced today, Thursday, that the Popular Mobilization Forces were able to arrest 3 ISIS members north of Baghdad.

A statement from the cell, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), said: “The General Directorate of Security and Discipline of the Popular Mobilization Forces, through the Directorate of Investigation and Preventive Security, carried out a security operation north of the capital, Baghdad, which resulted in the arrest of three members of ISIS terrorist gangs.”.

He added, "The operation resulted in the seizure of many weapons, grenades, equipment, and phones, and the necessary legal measures were taken against those arrested to complete their investigation papers and refer them to the competent authorities."
