Iraq ,Britain sign an agreement in securities market field

    The Securities Commission announced the signing of a joint cooperation agreement with the British Chartered Institute of securities, which includes the exchange of information related to financial training programs, stressing that the agreement represents a qualitative leap in the work of brokers in the securities market.

    The chairman of the commission, Faisal Al-Haimus, said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "the agreement has been working on by the Securities Commission for almost a year, and was signed between the Securities and the Royal British Institute in the licensing of capital markets, which is a high professional certificate recognized in all world countries ".

    Al-Haimus pointed out that "this agreement represents a qualitative leap in the work of brokers in the securities market in terms of moving the financial performance of companies and their ability to add a new skill, not in the Iraqi securities market, but in other markets, both regional and global".

    He added that "the articles of the agreement include the possibility of organizing training courses for Iraqi staff to benefit from the experiences of financial markets in the world countries, and the development of the professional framework by imposing the qualifications of the Chartered Institute for securities and investment on the competent Iraqi local institutes in the securities field ".
