Eric Ten Hag, coach of Manchester United, denied the reports that spread recently regarding the possibility of the team’s striker Marcus Rashford leaving for Paris Saint-Germain next summer.
The British newspaper "Mirror" indicated Paris's interest in including Rashford, noting that the French team was preparing about 75 million pounds to include him.
Saint-Germain is looking for a replacement for its striker Kylian Mbappé, who announced his departure at the end of the current season, while Rashford’s contract with United extends until 2028.
Ten Hag said, according to what was reported by the “Sky Sports” website today, Friday: “We did not renew his contract last season for a period of 4 years.” "For years with the intention of selling it. It is part of our project. This is not a matter for discussion."
It is noteworthy that Rashford scored only 7 goals in the Premier League this season, which is 10 goals less than his tally last season.
Manchester United is preparing to host Liverpool next Sunday in the FA Cup quarter-finals.
