The US House of Representatives voted today, Wednesday, on a bill to ban the “Tik Tok” application.
The law was easily passed in a rare moment of bipartisan consensus in a divided political ambiance in Washington.
The legislation is the biggest threat yet to the app, which has gained huge popularity around the world, while raising concerns among governments and security officials about its Chinese ownership and possible subordination to the Communist Party in Beijing.
