Media Office of the Prime Minister said in a statement obtained by the Iraqi News Agency INA that "Prime Minister Mohammed S. Al-Sudani met today, Sunday, with a group of tribal leaders and dignitaries from Al-Madina District in Basra Governorate, during his visit to the guesthouse of Sheikh Rashash Al-Emarah."
The statement read that "Prime Minister Al-Sudani emphasized the importance of bolstering security and stability and the collaboration of tribes with the efforts of security forces to ensure the implementation of service, social, and developmental programs and the completion of projects. The Prime Minister stressed the crucial role of tribes in supporting the state, the rule of law, and enhancing community security."
