Health Ministry: Thalassemia treatment guide will raise the quality of medical services provided

    The Ministry of Health confirmed today, Friday, that the launch of the medical treatment guide for thalassemia patients will raise the quality of services provided and reduce the rates of medical errors and scientific discrepancies.
     
     
    Director of the Specialized Centers Directorate in the Ministry of Health, Abadi Abdul Hassan, told the Iraqi News Agency (INA): “The Specialized Centers Directorate in the Ministry of Health, under the supervision and directives of the Minister of Health, Salih Mahdi Al-Hasnawi, held earlier a celebration to announce the medical treatment guide for thalassemia patients and for the first time in Iraq and in record time.
    Abdul Hassan added, "This guide will contribute to creating a unified approach for all centers in Iraq, which number more than 24 centers for treating thalassemia. It will also reduce the rates of medical errors and scientific differences."
    He continued, "The program will contribute to calculating the amount of medicines dispensed, estimating the need, and will shorten the administrative and accounting processes for us. In addition, these programs and guides will contribute to improving the quality and effectiveness of the health service provided by the Ministry of Health."
