Prime Minister’s Adviser on component Affairs, Nawafal Bahaa, confirmed on Monday the current Government's direct support for components and minorities in various fields ,pointing to seeking displaced return and close all the remaining camps.
Bahaa said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA ) that " Prime Minister Mohammed Shiaa al-Sudani Government is the first Government to give this great support to components and minorities in various fields, including the return issue of the displaced, as work is currently underway to return all the displaced and close all the remaining camps in the Kurdistan region and return them to their origin areas , especially the Yazidi component to Sinjar and rehabilitate the area with all things from the provision of services and houses construction".
He added that" The Government, in cooperation with the parliament, has prepared a fund for the reconstruction of Sinjar and Nineveh, and these funds will go directly to the Yazidi component, in addition to, supporting the other components, whether Christian or sabi "pointing out that “Iraqi Government today supports the Sabi component in terms of the ownership of their lands, i.e. the areas where they practice their rituals.
" Iraqi Government has also worked to restore Christian component e rights after their lands and property were confiscated by some gangs, as Prime Minister Mohammed Shiaa al-Sudani ordered the formation of a Supreme Committee to re-receive complaints and return the lands and properties of Christian component," pointing out that "the Government supports minority issues in a direct way”, he continued .
