A skilled technical team started looking into an attack targeted a vehicle in Baghdad: SMC

An investigation into the incident that targeted a civilian vehicle in Al-Mashtal area, east of the capital Baghdad, was declared open by the Security Media Cell.

The Iraqi News Agency (INA) obtained a statement from The Cell stating that "a specialized technical team from the security forces began investigating the incident of targeting a civilian vehicle within Al-Mashtal area, east of the capital, Baghdad, on February 7th, 2024."

"The investigation is still ongoing to find out the means of targeting and its source," SMC continued. "This targeting led to the burning of the vehicle and the martyrdom of those inside."
