PMF dismantles a terrorist cell in Nineveh

The Popular Mobilization Forces announced today, Saturday, the dismantling of a terrorist cell and the overthrow of its members in Nineveh Governorate.

A statement from the Popular Mobilization Forces received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) said: “A force from the Intelligence and Information Assistant/Military Intelligence Directorate of the Popular Mobilization Forces in Nineveh Governorate was able to dismantle a terrorist cell and arrest its members in the governorate.”.

The statement added, "This came during a specific security operation, where the force, after security follow-up, was able to dismantle a terrorist cell consisting of 4 members and arrest them in the areas of (Al-Salamiyah, Bawiza, Tal Al-Rumman, and Al-Karama) within Nineveh Governorate.".

He pointed out that "the necessary due process and legal measures were taken against them.".
