Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein arrived today, Sunday, in Vienna on an official visit, while a memorandum of understanding was signed in the field of political consultations between Iraq and Austria.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): that the “Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Fouad Hussein, arrived today in Vienna on an official visit.”
According to the statement "The Minister signed with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Austria for European and International Affairs, Alexander Schallenberg, a memorandum of understanding in the field of political consultations between the two countries at the headquarters of the Austrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in the presence of the Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq in Vienna, Bakr Fattah Hussein, and the Ambassador of the Republic of Austria in Baghdad, Andrea Nassi."
"This came on the sidelines of the official visit conducted by Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein to the Republic of Austria."
