Minister of Commerce, Atheer Al-Ghurairi, announced on Saturday, the conclusion of 47th Baghdad International Fair, confirming the achievement of many partnership contracts with Iraqi sectors, sectors of countries, and companies participating.
A statement by the Ministry of Commerce, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated that “Minister of Commerce Atheer Al-Ghurairi announced the conclusion of the activities of the 47th Baghdad International Fair after achieving great success, and whose activities began on the 10th day until the 19th of this month of January.”
The Minister stressed, "The course's activities were distinguished compared to previous course in terms of organization, qualification, diversity and size of participation by countries and companies, as well as the achievement of many partnership contracts between Iraqi sectors and sectors of countries and companies participating in the international course."
For his part, the company’s general manager, Mustafa Al-Ani, confirmed that “the 47th Baghdad International Fair was distinguished by the participation of 22 countries and 850 local, Arab and international companies,” stressing that it was “the highest participation compared to previous course, as the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia was one of the largest participants in the current course in its version 47th.”
The statement added, "Baghdad International Fair witnessed commercial displays of various international and local commodities and goods in various sectors, including projects related to infrastructure, agricultural, industrial, and technological sectors, and other fields."
