Real Madrid suffered a painful blow to Atletico Madrid in the round of 16 of the Spanish King's Cup.
The Merengues were eliminated from the Spanish King's Cup in the round of 16 by Atletico Madrid, after losing (2-4) after resorting to extra time.
The Spanish newspaper "Sport" reported: "The injury nightmare continues at Real Madrid, following the injury of Eduardo Camavinga.".
Sport added, "Carlo Ancelotti (Real Madrid coach) restored Camavinga before facing Barcelona in the Spanish Super Cup, after he recovered from a torn ligament in the external ligament of the right knee.".
Sport continued: “Camavinga suffered a blow against Atletico after Griezmann collided with Eduardo’s knee, which was protected with a special bandage.”.
Sport also continued: “Eduardo Camavinga got up with great difficulty, but he did not continue in the second overtime period and was forced out as a result.”.
Sport concluded: “Eduardo Camavinga will undergo further medical examinations to determine the extent of the injury and the possible duration of absence.”
