The Iraqi News Agency (INA) correspondent reported, “The national team tore down its Japanese counterpart with two goals to one in the Asian Cup.”.

He added, "Our national team striker Ayman Hussein scored two goals in the first half in the 5th minute and 45th minute, while the Japanese team reduced the score in the 90th minute through player Wataru Endo."
