Iraq and Spain discussed today, Thursday, strengthening cooperation, coordination and exchange of experiences between the Civil Guard forces and the Federal Police forces.
A statement by the Ministry of Interior, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), said: “With the aim of intensifying cooperation in the field of exchanging experiences and information, the Minister of Interior, Abdul Amir al-Shammari, and his accompanying delegation, visited the Civil Guard forces affiliated with the Spanish Ministry of the Interior, and he was received by a number of officials.”.
The statement added, "Al-Shammari discussed enhancing cooperation, coordination and exchange of experiences between the Civil Guard forces and the Federal Police forces.".
He pointed out, "Al-Shammari conducted a tour inside the headquarters of these forces and was briefed on the most important duties and tasks they carry out in the security field."
