Media coordinator for the Iraqi national team, Muhammed Imad, confirmed on Monday, that the match of the national team against its South Korean counterpart will be held without the presence of media and even audience.
“Our team’s friendly match against the Korean team, which is scheduled to be held on January, 6th and will be broadcast live without media or audience," according to the media coordinator for the national team, Muhammad Imad, in an exclusive statement to the Iraqi News Agency - INA from the city of Abu Dhabi.
He pointed out that “no stadium has been named yet for the trial match that will be held in the city of Abu Dhabi, the Emirates," stressing, "that most of the teams are playing their final matches in preparation for the most important event, the start of the Asian Championship."
Imad explained, “Coach Casas will be present with the rest of the professionals to meet all members of the delegation that will arrive in the city of Abu Dhabi, coming from the capital, Baghdad,” Pointing out, “The team’s camp will continue until the 11th of this month when the delegation will pack its bags to Doha to compete in the tournament.”
It is noteworthy that our team will face Indonesia on the 15th of this month, and then meet Japan on the 19th, while the group matches will conclude with a meeting with Vietnam.
