9 drug traffickers arrested in three governorates

The General Directorate of Narcotics Affairs announced on Friday, the arrest of 9 drug traffickers in three governorates.

“5 drug traffickers were arrested in Maysan Governorate after being ambushed as (5.2) kilograms of crystal meth were found in their possession,” The directorate said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
 
The statement explained that "Detachments of the General Directorate of Narcotics Affairs were also able to arrest (4) drug traffickers in Najaf and Kirkuk governorates red-handed in possession of (5.2) kilograms of crystal meth."
