Interior Ministry: The number of people convicted of drug crimes during 2023 is more than 7 thousand people

    The Ministry of Interior announced on Thursday, that the number of people convicted of drug crimes during the year 2023 reached more than 7,000 people.

    Ministry spokesman Brigadier General Miqdad Miri said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "the number of people convicted of drug crimes during the year 2023 reached 7,397 people."
      
    It continued ,"The convicts were sentenced to death and imprisonment."
