18, including 1 involved in Speicher crime arrested: SMC

The Security Media Cell SMC announced on Friday, the arrest of 18 wanted for the judiciary, one of whom is involved in Spyker crime.
 
A statement of SMC received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), said that "with an elaborate operation, fruitful follow-up, qualitative intelligence effort and maturity, coordination and great cooperation with the Joint Operations Command, the competent security agencies arrested 18 wanted according to arrest warrants since 2015 after they fled abroad, one of them is involved in Speicher crime and participation in murdering hundreds of Iraqi citizens, where this fugitive criminal was hiding in one of the neighboring countries disguised under false names and papers."

The statement added that "with this great security achievement, important qualitative efforts and intelligence maturity in pursuing terrorist, we pledge our people, our families and our citizens, especially the families of the Speicher martyrs, to continue to exert maximum effort to pursue terrorism at home and abroad, track them down, arrest them and bring them to national justice and a fair judiciary to receive the punishment that criminals who are messing with the lives of our people and our people deserve."
