Al-Hasnawi: Health institutions give priority to people with special needs

Health Minister Salih Mahdi Al-Hasnawi confirmed on Monday, that health institutions give priority to people with special needs.

“On the occasion of the International Day for People with Disability and within the priorities of the government program in the health sector, out of concern for the Ministry of Health, which pays special attention to this segment as it works to develop specialized centers to serve people with special needs, institutions will open new centers and work to develop private factories for manufacturing prosthetic limbs of various types and increase the number of these factories," said Al-Hasnawi in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency - INA.

He added, "The Ministry is working to give priority to this segment when reviewing health institutions to receive various services."
