The Director General of the National Center for Joint Planning in the National Security Advisory, Ali Al-Yasiri, confirmed on Thursday, that all state formations contribute to preparing and completing the new draft of the National Security Strategy in Iraq for the years 2024-2028, while explaining its importance.
Al-Yasiri told the Iraqi News Agency (INA): “All state formations contribute to preparing the new draft of the national security strategy in Iraq for the years 2024-2028, which is the third strategy in the state’s history after 2003."
He added, "The national team, headed and coordinated by the Permanent Committee in the National Security Advisory, is working to organize and develop this draft and develop its axes to be at the level of the aspirations and requirements of managing and building the state and achieving security, stability and prosperity."
He pointed out, “It is expected from this workshop that the national team and the partnership map will integrate to prepare this document (draft), and the features, action plan, and responsibilities of all authorities and all sectors will be drawn, starting from the legal presidencies of the state, passing through all service and security formations, and ending with the role of the citizen and all sectors and representations for each detail of joints of this society."
