Interior Minister Abdul Amir Al-Shammari issued, on Thursday, 5 directives to the commanders of Baghdad checkpoints on the sides of Karkh and Rusafa.
A ministry statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) said that "Interior Minister Abdul Amir al-Shammari chaired a meeting with the commanders f checkpoints in Karkh and Rusafa in the capital Baghdad, in the presence of the ministry's undersecretary for Police Affairs”.
Al-Shammari stressed “the importance of intensifying intelligence efforts and not neglecting the duties assigned to them", directing "to work carefully at all times for the security and safety of the capital."
Al-Shammari stressed "taking into account the flow and movement of the road in conjunction with the accuracy in the inspection and follow-up the wanted".
