Basra will host a conference to enhance expertise in the field of the oil and gas industry

Basra Governorate announced today, Saturday, that it will host the Seventh Iraq Oil and Gas Conference, which is scheduled to be held for the period from 11/30/29-2023.

Director of the Petroleum Research and Development Center, Chairman of the Conference’s Preparatory Committee, Ali Jassim Hammoud, stressed in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), “the importance of holding this conference to discuss the challenges and opportunities facing the Iraqi oil industry.”.

Hammoud added, “The conference aims to enhance experiences and exchange information and ideas in the field of the oil and gas industry, by adopting solid scientific research, and emphasizing the translation of the results into practical reality to contribute to solving the problems and obstacles facing the Iraqi oil industry.”

Hammoud pointed out, “The conference scheduled to be held for the period from 11/30/29-2023 includes 87 local and international papers related to the fields of the oil and gas industry in Iraq, especially gas energy investment projects and oil industry development projects in the country.”
