Military Intelligence Directorate announced, on Wednesday, the seizure of bags containing the narcotic substance (cocaine) in Al- Rutba district.
The Directorate said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that "According to accurate intelligence information of the division of the 5th division of the Directorate of military intelligence, in cooperation with intelligence and a force from the 19th brigade, and after raiding one of the empty houses in the village of Nazra belonging to the Rutba district, a number of bags containing the narcotic substance (cocaine) were found, estimated at (kilogram).
The Directorate added that" the intention of the drug dealers was to bring them to the governorate center “, pointing out that "the seizures were handed over to the competent authority after completing the necessary procedures”.
