Al-Halbousi discusses with the ambassadors of Qatar and Kuwait efforts to stop the war on Gaza

Speaker of Parliament , Muhammad Al-Halbousi, on Tuesday, in two separate meetings, discussed with the new Ambassador of the State of Qatar, Sultan bin Mubarak bin Khalifa Al-Kubaisi, and the Ambassador of the State of Kuwait, Tariq Abdullah Al-Faraj, diplomatic efforts to stop the war on Gaza.


According to a statement issued by his media office and received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), Al-Halbousi congratulated the Ambassador of the State of Qatar on assuming his new duties.

According to the statement, the two meetings discussed bilateral relations, enhancing bilateral cooperation, coordinating positions in international forums regarding regional issues, and a number of topics of common interest.

The two meetings also discussed developments in the situation in the Gaza Strip, and diplomatic efforts to stop the war, reiterating Iraq’s firm popular and official position in supporting the Palestinian cause.
